One of the baking sheets Andrew owned was a perforated baking sheet but since it’s a rectangle instead of a circle, I was stumped as to what it was. Then we moved and he threw away the pizza stone, which I didn’t realize until a pizza was being made a few days ago. As I was looking for a baking sheet, it finally hit me.
That holey sheet was for pizzas!
It baked the crust nice and crispy like the pizza stone did. I had no idea this glorious thing has been here all along.
On this beautiful work of art:
- pizza dough from Budget Bites
- pizza sauce from Annie Eats
- provolone, mozzarella, cooked bacon, and sautéed red onion in a little of the bacon grease
After 13 minutes in a preheated 450 degree oven, out came a beautiful, crispy pizza.
I’m so glad we understand each other now holey baking sheet.
